 The Lord Makes My Life So Wonderful

Getting baptized is a wonderful thing! As soon as you are baptized, God adds your name to the Book of Eternal Life, and all the angels rejoice and sing 'Hallelujah'!"
I had been quite a temperamental and sensitive child when I was younger, always crying and throwing tantrums. I would usually forget to pray to God for peace, but when I did, I felt calmer, and more willing to apologize for I had done. I was pretty young when my mom first brought me before God. In fact, I was so young; my memory is kind of hazy as to what happened in the previous years. But I remember at one point, I had thought, 'wow, God is so amazing! He created the whole world all by himself and in just one week!' God has helped in so many ways, more than I can name. He's given me a loving and caring family, blessed me with friends, and let me be born into this world as a free person. To me, Jesus Christ is not merely my Savior, but also my friend, and sometimes he's the brother I never had. After accepting him as my Savior, my attitude towards others changed, and I was able to control my anger better and show kindness to people I couldn't before. Sometimes, I would doubt myself and everything else, and stray from the path, but he was always waiting for me with his arms wide open, waiting patiently until I realized my mistake and would go back into his embrace. I remember nearly bursting into tears when I read in my Bible that God loved us so much he gave up his one and only son, Jesus Christ. After giving up his holy body, Jesus came all the way down from heaven to earth, just so he could live among us. Then, even though he was hurt, beaten, and shamed by us, humans, he continued to love us and died not in vain nor plotting vengeance, but asked God to forgive us for what we had done.
Did you know? God and Jesus Christ love all of us!! I am so grateful that I came to know the Lord, to be able to walk with him until the end. And it's THAT makes my life so wonderful and worth living.
