The Foundation of What I Believe

Joannie Fu

When Pastor Caleb told us you do not have to put down anything impressive or dramatic. I did not think it was that way to say it, to God, every personal testimony is a dramatic and impressive. He never gets bored or tired of testimonies made that you do believe in Christ Jesus. I believe that whenever anybody becomes one of His own, He would be filled with joy and happiness that there is another to join Him in eternal life.

I was brought to know, naturally, my parents have often taught me about His love, His kindness towards me. Whenever I felt sad I would call for Him, it would be as though He was there physically, embracing me and wiping away each tear, each mean word said to me, He would erase. Sometimes when I felt anger or bitterness towards a person who had done or said something unkind to me I would think what would Jesus do? Then the anger inside me would slowly evaporate, the mean words that were about to spring out would vanish. Of course the scars still remain and the tears still come, but in place of hatred I would have love.

I believe Jesus is the one and only God and that is all I can say it is plain and simple. I also believe that you can only get eternal life through Him, like Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me that is what I believe and it is the foundation of what I believe.
